Why can't Conduit find my Windows PC?
Both devices must be on the same local network and Conduit Receiver must be running on Windows. Check that your firewall isn't blocking the app on the Windows side, allow it on 'private' networks when prompted. Make sure the Mac app has the appropriate permissions and is active in the menu bar.
Is an internet connection required?
No. Conduit works entirely over your local network (LAN). No data is sent to the internet, the stream goes directly between your Mac and the receiver.
Why is the stream laggy or choppy?
A 5 GHz Wi-Fi connection gives the best results. If both devices support Ethernet, a wired connection will be even smoother. The Supporter tier also provides wired connection support which works alongside wireless to provide the best experience. Also check that no bandwidth-heavy background tasks are running.
Does Conduit work with TVs?
Yes. any TV or monitor running a Conduit-compatible receiver will work. Currently the Windows receiver is the only official receiver app. Smart TV support is planned.
What does the Pro license unlock?
Pro unlocks unlimited speed streaming, multi-display selection, and audio forwarding. It's a one-time $0.99 purchase with no subscription.
How do I activate my Pro license?
After purchasing, you'll receive a license key by email. Click the Conduit menu bar icon, choose 'Activate License', and paste the key.
